IAM Singapore 2019

It was great meeting some of you guys at the IAM Singapore 2019 held at Singapore Expo on the 24th Aug ’19. Although the set up and being around the whole day to look after the cars were very tiring, we had a blast getting to know you guys and hearing the kind words some of you had for our member cars.

Team RZER would like to thank all our friends, from those who displayed their cars with us, to the ‘security detail’ and the friends and supporters who came down.

Without further ado, please enjoy the awesome pictures that were taken by @rankineeee and @teckyteck and some by photographer wannabes Bert and Brandon.

The #rzerevo arriving a day before the event. We spent a few days before that prepping everything, notice anything new about the look?

We were the first cars to arrive, and shifted the cars to our designated lots.

.. making some minor adjustments to the placement!
Proven to be able to withstand at least 260km/hr on Sepang straight, our original Voltex aero kit can take the pressure, no worries.
Does the ERP unit work still? Yes it does!
Couple of the fastest guys in Evos at Sepang circuit in their respective classes.

We can be found on Instagram now! Please do give us a follow! We’re still pretty new to Instagram, so apologies if we missed out some stuff!

Our awesome engine package is built by one of the best engine builders in Singapore, ST Powered. We’re pretty much maxing out our aged T3 GT35 setup and making around 700+ WHP, but we’re in talks with ST Powered on going another level up next year.

CK’s awesome CLA45 AMG, the euro Evo? It’s really, really quick!

Zhengliang’s Evo X, one to keep watch for on the street and track!

Big wang gang
We’re currently using Advan 050 semi slicks for our forays to Sepang. We have not used full slicks, but it might change in the future with our V2 as we continue to push the boundaries. We’d just like to continue to raise the level of time attack in our region instead of sitting back on past successes.
Bert really likes his Advan GTs.
The #rzerevo with his collection of trophies and awards from time attack events, etc since the end of 2012. It was a long journey with this road registered Evo,but we’re proud that our effort and determination has paid off.
A few more to add to the collection

IAM Singapore ’19 gave us quite a few awards to add to the collection,

Best Sedan
Best Asian Modified Car
Best Mitsubishi
Best Racing Look
The Four Fighter

It was a great event and we really had fun and a good time, so thank you all so much

Some members of Team RZER. From L – R, Nick, Darryl, Bert, Cliv and Brandon. Rankine was behind the camera! Edwin, YY and the rest, thanks for coming down as well!

Bert’s daily drive, an Evo X SST. Conservatively tuned, peaking at 390+WHP @ 1.6bar, it’s a pretty fun car to drive on the streets! Setup is LTA friendly too!

Familiar rims? That’s cause the 18×10.5 AME Tracers were from the #rzerevo! Turns out, they’re pretty interchangeable!

This might be the last time you’ll see the #rzerevo at a car show in Singapore, we’ll be concentrating on our #rzerevo v2 for our ongoing journey!

We could definitely take our road registered #rzerevo to a faster lap time at Sepang Intl Circuit, but there are too many hassles to get the car into Malaysia with its current Aero kit, not to mention the yearly troubles we have to go through because of LTA’s strict enforcement on road registered cars. With no proper circuit nearby, we decided this is the way to go for the future. Building a V2 and keeping this road registered… road registered and LTA friendly.

We’re going for a proper track build for our #rzerevo V2 this time, hoping to cut 150-200kgs off from the current #rzerevo (~1400kg) and with some revisions to the current Voltex Aero package. We’re pretty excited about it, are you?

It’ll be a tight schedule, but we’re hoping to get the new V2 ready for 2020’s World Time Attack Challenge held at Sydney, Australia. We have been working towards this target for the longest time, please give us your support! We want to make Singaporean modified car lovers proud on an international stage!

Team RZER is also looking for sponsors, please do contact us via our email, admin@rzer.sg or bert@rzer.sg if you are interested in letting us help you advertise!
